Though I have been teaching for 15 years, I still struggle with getting to sleep on Sunday nights. I chalked it up to my overly-sensitive nature (despite the fact I, nonetheless, teach high school and that requires a thick skin) and a desire to do things very well professionally. Often I will see a movie on Sunday night just to distract my emotions. It helps some, not always. Best wishes and luck. Lisa Yes! I have a habit of going to school on the week-end to make sure everything is ready. I actually enjoy getting the copy machine to myself. I have been lucky to be in schools where I could get access to the building but I know some teachers don't have that luxury. The only time I couldn't sleep was when I was going through "my own personal summer" if you get my drift! sigh Not me Edie!
